FundPulse is operated by FundPulse Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales ("FundPulse", "we", "us", "our"). We provide an AI-native investor relations and CRM platform to hedge funds and other alternative asset managers.
FundPulse Limited is the data controller for personal data we collect about users of our website and platform, and about our own employees and contractors. For personal data that our customers store within the FundPulse platform about their own investors and contacts (what we call "Customer Data"), FundPulse acts as a data processor on the customer's behalf.
An important distinction. If you are a limited partner or investor whose data has been stored in FundPulse by one of our fund manager clients, the relevant fund manager is the data controller for that data. Please direct any data rights requests to the fund manager directly. We will support them in fulfilling those requests.
When you sign up for FundPulse or are added as a user by your organisation, we collect your name, work email address, job title, and organisation name. We also collect usage data about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps of activity.
Our customers upload, import, and create records within FundPulse relating to their limited partners and other investor contacts. This data may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, professional details, meeting notes, investment history, and related correspondence. We process this data on behalf of our customers under a Data Processing Agreement and do not use it for our own purposes.
We collect technical data automatically when you visit our website or use the platform, including IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and referring URL. If you contact us by email or through our contact form, we retain that correspondence.

FundPulse's infrastructure is hosted within the UK and European Economic Area. In limited circumstances, data may be processed by sub-processors operating in the United States or other countries outside the UK and EEA. Where such transfers occur, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or adequacy decisions as the legal mechanism for the transfer.
We retain account and usage data for as long as your organisation has an active subscription with us, and for a reasonable period thereafter to allow for account reinstatement, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We will delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer required for these purposes.
Customer Data (LP and investor records stored within the platform) is deleted within 30 days of subscription termination, unless we are required by law to retain it, or unless you request earlier deletion.

We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These include AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, strict row-level multi-tenant isolation, role-based access controls, and immutable audit logging.
We are on a SOC 2 Type II certification path. We require all staff and sub-processors who access personal data to maintain appropriate confidentiality obligations.
No security measure is entirely without risk. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and affected individuals without undue delay, in accordance with applicable law.
